David Altobelli's music videos for ambient band 'Hammock' are all very similar in their cinematography and style. A hand-held camera lingers over a singular character, with close ups and shifts in focal points used to create an intimate study of the character that generates an emotional depth when combined with the atmospheric and often sonbre sounds of Hammock. Emmulating traits of this style would be a good poetic approach for doing a character driven observational documentary.
